It was a hot summer day in the hood, high humidity heat index over one hundred and I had to mow a lawn. When it's that hot out it's shorts and no shirt and lots of water. On my way to mow the lawn I was listening to Megadeth, Rust in Peace album. My car has air Conditioning. I started the lawn and I already had sweat dripping off my nose. It was nuclear hot out, I was just starting the lawn and tired already but I was making good money which made it worth it. I remember thinking about the songs I was listening to in the car to pass the time, which was pretty much talking about nuclear war. Besides the heat everything was good. Everyone has their air conditioning on which can result in roaming blackouts because the power plants can only kick out so much electricity. I heard that if you live by power lines you might get cancer or birth defects or sumthin like that. I recently watched a documentary about Chernobyl. The power we get in my city is nuclear power and is a lot more safe than what it used to be, until today. Everyone's air conditioning set the plant into chaos because something went wrong that the reactor was spinning out of control from the demand of energy, it should have shut down but it failed to do that. Much like Chernobyl the reactor had less water that boiled hotter and the reactor was out of control. It was about to melt down. As I was moving the lawn there was an emergency siren was blasting but I didn't hear it because of the lawnmower. It literally could not get hotter out and the reactor was melting down, it was about to get hotter. The nuclear meltdown happened and everyone in a hundred mile radius was infected with radiation. There was no power for years but it didn't stop there, other power plants also melted dow as a chain reaction from picking up the load of the original reactor.
